For those of you who have kept current with the BWCAW news: our end of the entry points and canoe routes were not affected by the 1999 blow down or the 2006/2007 wildfire disasters affecting the Ely and Gunflint areas.  On our Western end of the BWCAW you will canoe and camp among mature forests of Pine, Birch and Aspen.
