#16 Nina Moose River North
The Nina Moose entry point #16, located off the Echo Trail, offers countless BWCAW canoe route options. From this entry point, you can make a great 4-to-7-day canoe camping adventure. It is only a day’s paddle to the east end of Lac La Croix, where you can enjoy great fishing and sightseeing.
A couple musts:
- From the water on Lac La Croix, view ancient Pictograph paintings dating as far back as the last ice age.
- Paddle to Iron and Crooked Lakes to experience Curtain Falls, one of the larger falls in the BWCAW.
One-way boat shuttles are available for Lac La Croix or Loon Lake.
