The Devil’s Cascade is another piece of the glacial remains that makes the Boundary Waters what it is today. On your paddle to the Cascades, you will travel the Little Indian Sioux River North, Upper Pauness Lake and Lower Pauness Lake. When you make it to the Cascades your options are wide open. Go North and head up into Lac La Croix to explore the beautiful shores and bays it has to offer; or head East and venture into Shell, Little Shell, Lynx, Ruby or many more. Depending on the time you have and the amount of travel wanted, the Little Indian Sioux has lots possibilities for adventure.
