Quetico Provincial Park

Discover the beauty and solitude of Quetico Provincial Park with Anderson’s Canoe Outfitters, your western gateway to this expansive Canadian wilderness.

Quetico spans more than a million acres of rugged terrain, pristine lakes and rivers, ancient pictographs, and magnificent waterfalls. Bordering Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), the park offers remote backcountry canoe camping, outstanding fishing, and opportunities to experience a true wilderness setting.

From our Crane Lake dock, Anderson’s provides boat shuttle service through Sand Point and Little Vermilion Lakes, along the Loon River, and to the far eastern side of Lac La Croix. For paddlers interested in the Beaverhouse Lake and Stanton Bay entry points in the Atikokan area of Quetico, Anderson’s provides boat shuttle service to Lady Rapids on the Namakan River and contracts with Canoe Canada to provide vehicle shuttle service from there to those entry points.

Your Quetico trip includes a Canadian Customs check-in on Sand Point Lake, the first stop after departing the Anderson’s Crane Lake dock. At the end of your trip, we’ll assist with your U.S. Customs check-in using the Customs tablets at our shop.

Along with shuttle services and canoe and camping equipment rentals, Anderson’s offers E-mapping routes through Paddle Planner and lodging referrals at the Pine Ridge Motel, conveniently located across the road from our shop.
